Broward County Medical Association Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program

Broward County Medical Society Workers Compensation Insuance

Did you receive money back on your workers’ compensation premium last year? Many doctors have through the Broward County Medical Association Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program.

Since the rates for workers’ compensation insurance are set by the state, prices are the same no matter what carrier you secure coverage with. However, through the Broward County Medical Association Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program, you could be eligible for a dividend on your paid premium of up to 30%.

Other workers’ comp programs may offer similar dividends on an individual basis, but our program is based on the group’s experience and not the individual’s experience. This provides a better chance to not only receive the dividend, but to receive a higher dividend.

AmTrust North America, rated “A” (Excellent) by A.M. Best, has been a true partner to the Broward County Medical Association for many years, and now. To date, these programs have returned a dividend for 12 straight years, with over $5 million over the past five years to Florida medical associations’ members: $500,000 of that went to Broward County Medical Association members.

The Broward County Medical Association unites 1,700 allopathic and osteopathic physicians, of all specialties, as well as Physician Assistants, toward the fulfillment of a common goal:

  • To secure access to health care of the highest quality for the residents of Broward County.
  • To maintain the integrity of medical practice and care delivery for the citizens of Broward.
  • To advocate in legislative, regulatory, and economic forums for the interests of the patients of Broward County in securing and maintaining access to medical care of high quality from the physicians of their choice, and for the interests of practicing physicians in caring for their patients.
  • To providing professional and personal member benefits to help you grow your practice.
